The jury is made up of a group of people representing the full range of skills and interests related to the project in question. Based on the approved selection criteria, its main role is to choose the nominees and to select and recommend the winner of the “Le Corbusier Prize” competition.
To be effective, a jury must be well constituted, i.e. both small and coherent. It must include people who are familiar with all the critical aspects of the program, so as to ensure that the winning team complies with its requirements. It’s also a good idea for the jury to include people – designers and specialists – who are known and respected by the competitors. Indeed, the presence of jury members whose professional competence is widely recognized can have a positive impact on the presentation of high-level bids and the production of quality proposals.
