Description
Feelwood creates the stunning look and feel of real wood, in a versatile surface material that is an excellent alternative to solid wood or wood veneers. Strikingly deep synchronized textures deliver a cost-effective solution that is virtually indistinguishable from nature’s version—without some wood’s drawbacks. Feelwood, a revolutionary development in wood-look finishes, offers a meticulously designed range of durable, fade-resistant, on trend decorative surfaces available in matching thermally fused laminate (TFL) panels, laminates, edge banding and end grain edge banding. Embossed-in-register (EIR) technology flawlessly aligns the texture pattern to the woodgrain pattern of the decorative paper, reproducing an authentic wood effect that highlights knots, cracks and grains and is realistic to the touch. Feelwood decors are printed on an expanded format, meaning the pattern of knots, cracks and other woodgrain details repeat less often, creating an even more natural and authentic appearance. End grain edge banding further enhances the range’s authentic appearance. By reproducing the look of sawn timber, depicting the annular rings of a tree cut across its length. Paired with matching surface decor and longitudinal edge banding, this solution allows you to beautifully capture the natural look of cut wood. Feelwood materials fall within even the most conservative budgets, and offers a level of color variation not achievable with veneers. When compared to wood, these reproductions are more durable, and are easier to care for and clean thanks to a nonporous surface. Feelwood is also less prone to discoloration when exposed to light.
