To install the ElevateMe app, elevators are connected to Schinder’s digital platform, which uses reliable SIM card-based 4G/LTE wireless connectivity, and each unit receives a QR code are that is placed around that elevator’s call buttons. All first-time users need to do is scan the QR code and it will prompt them to download the ElevateMe app. Once installed, riders can simply scan the QR code, request an elevator and choose their destination floor – all from the convenience of their smartphone. ElevateMe is a designed specifically to provide a convenient, highly intuitive touchless solution for these traditionally high-contact areas.
