The Arpège, Liaigre’s first modular sofa, is the perfect balance of comfort and flexibility, providing a haven for all rituals. The dynamic sofa adapts to our movements with its modular design, reflecting a contemporary style of living and hosting that is informal and relaxed. The Arpège is a true incarnation of the Liaigre spirit with its timeless aesthetic, proportions and refined materials. Unlike many of the classic models created by the Maison, the sofa is not custom made. The concept is based on a specific line of materials, modules and accessories. An exclusive line of fabrics and leathers were developed for this unique piece to attain an openness and flexibility. The Arpège has a leather base resting on oak feet, deep seats upholstered in monochrome wool and fabric and a straight back with matching feather and duvet cushions to guarantee comfort. The Arpège is designed to be a world of possibility, a white page to fill through a choice of 17 modules. The elements in either leather or fabric can be independent or assembled together to conceive your ideal sofa. A system of wooden foot links in the structure unites the modules when combined. A leather extension can be added where you can place a lacquered or oak storage box. There are several seating options for one, two or three people, as well as a meridienne which can be added to make a corner sofa, U shaped or upright sofa with a large number of seats.
