The communications technologies that power today’s conference rooms have vastly improved over the past few years. Yet the centerpiece of so many of these meeting spaces—the table—hasn’t done much to keep up. Geiger worked with designers Naoto Fukasawa and Keiji Takeuchi to address that. Their response was Axon Tables, a suite of rectangular and round tables designed to welcome and adapt to ever-evolving technology needs. Axon Tables go beyond cable management with convenient locations along the surface where connections for power and data, voice and videoconferencing can be made. Axon transforms the conference table into an electronic map for the flow of ideas, powering the collective connectivity of the teams who use it.
