Description
Butlr’s Heatic 2+ wireless sensor combines AI and body heat sensing technology to understand how humans use indoor space for living and working while ensuring anonymity. Using machine learning algorithms, Butlr provides real-time and historical spatial insights into how a space is being used. These insights accurately discern activity, occupancy, indoor location, and body posture. This results in working and living environments that are more comfortable, safer, and energy efficient. Engineered with customer feedback at its core, the Heatic 2+ sensor features a multi-year battery life, greater accuracy, stable mesh performance, and fuller integration into the built environment, resulting in more insightful data into human movements in a space. With a strong foothold in the workplace and senior care communities, Butlr is expanding into campuses for work and higher education, as well as brick-and-mortar retail stores with the launch of the Heatic 2+ sensor. Additional features of the Heatic 2+ sensor include: • New form factor: the 12.6-ounce, sleek wireless sensor uses thermal design to detect occupancy and human presence in indoor spaces. The years-long battery life and easy installation is built for multi-building, multi-phase projects and existing building retrofits. • Privacy: The camera-free sensor is unable to capture personally identifiable information. • Enterprise-grade Security: Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2) and at rest (AES256), SAML Authentication via OAuth. • API-first data platform for accurate real-time and historical occupancy insights: The combination of wireless sensors and an API-first data platform that easily integrates with other data sources provides fresh insights to solve the most critical problems in the built environment. • Certified: FCC approved, certified in US, CA, EU, Japan, Singapore, Australia, India, South Korea, UAE, and Thailand.
