The artisan sinks are handcrafted from the highest quality Italian fireclay, a clay-based ceramic material which is kiln-fired at extremely high temperatures. Fireclay has a long artistic tradition and is widely recognized for its exceptional quality and durability. The clay used to produce fireclay is sourced from various regions in Italy, including Tuscany, Umbria, and Sicily—areas known for their high-quality clay deposits. Once hand glazed, the sinks in the Precious Metals Collection are kiln-fired three times for strength and durability, then finished with an exceptionally tough, custom formulated sealer to ensure that the gorgeous finish will endure the test of time.
