Our mission is to inspire the buildings of tomorrow. Instead of extracting more raw materials from the planet, we have chosen to reuse what has already been extracted. All Loqa products are sourced from waste materials found at manufacturing defects, specifically ceramic, glass, and fly ash. These materials are upcycled into loqa tiles and bricks. Unfired tiles are crafted from over 85% industrial waste derived from ceramics, glass, and fly ash, removing 37-39kg of waste per square meter. Manufacturing these tiles through non-toxic chemical bonding allows us to significantly reduce the amount of carbon dioxide released during production compared to traditional firing methods. Our tiles have similar properties to regular tiles but are 106% stronger, which means they last longer and use very little water in production. We prioritize sustainability by sourcing waste materials through local partners located near the production sites to minimize emissions from transportation. Furthermore, any remnants and cut-offs generated during production are seamlessly reintegrated into our manufacturing process. At the end of a product's life cycle, it can be repeatedly upcycled. Our use of locally sourced waste materials results in each finished product having a distinct, artisanal finish. The unfired nature of our products enables us to offer a diverse array of colors, catering to the preferences of designers and bringing their creative visions to life. For added personalization, we also offer pictogram embossing on tiles, allowing individuals to express their unique identities and infuse more creativity into the texture of their chosen tiles.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
