Originally designed as an armchair for the Folio Society, it has gone on to reside in many fine buildings including the Royal Opera House, the Institute of International Affairs and Trinity Hall, Cambridge, the MSSA Department of the Sterling Memorial Library at Yale University and The Hill School. Ideally suited as a dining chair, library chair or meeting chair the Folio is both comfortable and durable. So durable that we are typically only undertaking its first round of refurbishment for clients after 25 years of contract furniture service. Technical Specification Made from solid European Oak of the highest quality and sourced from sustainable forests, the Folio comes with the finest Scottish leather upholstery as standard. Alternatively, architects and designers can specify any suitable commercial-grade fabric and have four standard stain colours to choose from. Custom stain, felt glides and blind embossing can also be specified to create a unique product for the end client. The leather and fabric we supply is CAL117 rated.
