The Seattle-based lighting manufacturer is now offering hundreds of variations in color, size, and materials to their innovative acoustic lighting collection. What launched last year as a groundbreaking two-in-one lighting and sound solution is expanding to meet design needs for any space, color palette, and aesthetic. Static is a beam-shaped modular lighting solution that delivers both high performance lighting and acoustic value. Using some of the highest efficiency LED modules on the market, Static offers two directional lighting and has 1% dimming capabilities. Echo, a fixture consisting of a series of angled fins, creates a striking geometric ceiling landscape with the unique ability to provide both a lighting and sound solution. Colors and Materials As of Spring 2018, designers can customize their Static beams to fit any color and material needs. New detail options include thirteen new felt colors and a multitude of custom colors for Static’s metal endplates. These new options open up endless possibilities for designers for both Static Beams and The Acoustic Collection’s geometric Echo fixtures. The PET felt material used throughout the collection has been tested at NWAA Lab and Riverbank Acoustical Laboratories. At NWAA, the largest reverberation chamber in the world, static’s material and assembly received an NRC rating ranging from.80 to 1.00, proving the fixture’s high performance capabilities.
