Description
Proof that products can be full of bends and edges and still look superbly good is provided by FSB’s angular hardware schemes for all types of host elements both indoors and out. Angular roses from Brakel go particularly well with product collections by Hadi Teherani (FSB 1183) and David Chipperfield (FSB 1004), the lever handles in which have been pared down and given pronounced edges on their gripping sections. The roses’ formal qualities are generated by their focused angularity as well as in combination with a variety of handle types such as those for flush doors, narrow-frame doors or windows. On main entrance doors, angular armoured roses blend in perfectly with either angular knobs or crossbar handles. With its S-Flat push/ pull pad handle series, FSB has harnessed a fine Bauhaus tradition in opting for a rigorously geometrical approach.
