Aplomb Wall LED

Aplomb wall lamp is an exploration of the expressive possibilities of concrete, bringing this raw architectural material into the domestic environment. The lamp body is made of cement, consisting of a special amalgam colored with pigments and poured into a mold. The oblique form of the diffuser merges into its supporting structure, a parabola-shaped brushed steel element, to allow for wider ranging light. The concrete blocks the light completely and then releases it from both the large opening at the top, and the smaller one at the bottom. The beam of light directed upwards is reflected onto the walls and ceiling. The more delicate beam directed downwards, by contrast, creates a sophisticated glow on the walls. Aplomb Wall represents Foscarini?s advanced research and development in the LED space. To achieve efficiency without compromising on the quality of light, the Foscarini product development team adopted existing LED technology specifically to Aplomb Wall. The result is a light that feels natural and evokes emotions. Aplomb Wall is available in concrete?s original grey, an elegant white and a warm brown color.
