Fielders ARAMAX FreeSpan, part of Fielders’ Platinum Portfolio Architectural Range, was an excellent choice for a project of this scale due to the product’s unique on-site manufacturing capabilities, unrivalled spanning capability and superior water carrying properties. This makes ARAMAX FreeSpan the perfect solution for the Livestock Market project. Whilst providing uninterrupted shade for the livestock, the new roof can catch an impressive amount of water, creating a sustainable advantage for the saleyard. For each millimetre of rain received, 5000 litres of water is distributed to the onsite water tanks which will then be used as livestock drinking water. Working in co-ordination with a 2-stage steel erection program to ensure the saleyard could continue to operate, the underslung Aramax FreeSpan fixing methodology was most suited to the design. The Fielders Mobile Mill was on-site to rollout the product and assure efficient project completion. Working within allowed timeframes and within site set down areas, the onsite manufacturing capability allowed greater flexibility in working with the builder and roofing contractor to meet the required criteria and exceed expectations. Fielders ARAMAX FreeSpan is a superior roofing profile, deeper and bolder than conventional steel cladding profiles on the market. In addition to having a unique V-shaped appearance, the product is manufactured in standard 800mm cover width, with 700mm to 900mm cover widths available upon request.
