The inspiration for the wallhanging is based on an ancient Greenlandic myth about Mother Natures frustration with mans carelessness with nature, and the battle between the two, which eventually ends us up in a harmonious balance. The sculpture is poetic with references to both life and growth as well as change and fragility. The sculpture has been presented both at Sculpture by the Sea exhibition in Sydney as well as Venice Biennale April-Nov 2024. This ceramic wall hanging is made up of several hundred handmade porcelain bells. The bells are fed on to sprung metal wire and the hung from a single point from the wall to create a large organic cluster, the cluster can be made larger or smaller according to space and budget. The wall hanging can also have LED lights added to create a soft unique light installation. The wallhanging measures approx 40cm x 190cm / 15 inches x 75 inches
